DRIVING MALAYSIA’S GREEN WORKFORCE FORWARD
The Green Leadership Conference 2025 brought together over 200 key stakeholders to explore the vast potential of green jobs in Malaysia. The event featured an insightful dialogue between YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and YB Steven Sim Chee Keong, where they discussed critical topics such as policy alignment, funding opportunities, and strategies to bridge the green skills gap.
A significant milestone of the conference was the launch of the Green Jobs Guideline, a comprehensive resource designed to equip Malaysians with the necessary skills to thrive in the green economy.
Additionally, MGTC formalized collaborations with HRD Corp and PERKESO through an MOU exchange, focusing on initiatives such as upskilling programmes, job placements, and professional certifications, ensuring a fair and inclusive transition for all.
